Search Your Way - Quick Searches and Bookmarks

The Scrügy search engine provides a cool shortcut technology we call Quick Searches. Quick Searches make it easy to run searches on Scrügy or any other search engine just by typing a Quick Search shortcut and then a search phrase. For example, to search Google when you're on Scrügy just type "!g" followed by your search phrase in the Scrügy search field ("!g petite sirah" will tell Scrügy to search Google for "petite sirah"). The "!" tells Scrügy that you want to run a Quick Search and "g" is the shortcut for the Google Quick Search. Besides Quick Searches for Google (!g) and Yahoo (!y), Scrügy also has built-in Quick Searches for recipe sites like epicurious (!epic) and Food Network (!fnet), Lonely Planet (!lp) for travel, and several popular wine focused bulletin board sites.
