As exotic as it is potent, with deep blackberry liqueur, sandalwood and wild game aromas and rich, ripe cassis, blueberry and licorice flavors that power on toward the bold, spicy finish. Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Petite Sirah and Syrah. Drink now through 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,143 cases made.

Color: Dark garnet Nose: A bit of bramble, but really a well-rounded blend, giving black and red fruit. Palate: Very smooth and tasty. An interesting comparison would be alongside The Prisoner and both are quite good, but I think this one has smoother Claret characteristics. I like it.
