Color: Darker ruby Nose: Some black fruits with just a hint of red, a little loamy and with some spice Palate: A little disjointed, but with some riper, almost plummy black fruit with a touch of blue. That earthiness is there along with some gaminess.

I'm digging carneros pinot noir these days. Especially this 2004 Fleur de carneros. Im on my 5th bottle or so in the past couple of months. Red berries, a hint of herbs and spice and a nice glassy body. Somewhat quick finish makes it easy drinking. This pairs up extremely well with middle eastern food, perfect on these warm summer evenings...
