Color: Darker garnet with purple highlights
Nose: Darker and deeper than the appellation-wide version, this has some great black fruit with some blue on top. Still seems young, but has some great spice and cracked black pepper.
Palate: Quite smooth again, but with more grip than the DCV wine. Good fruit from the nose combines with some still-integrating oak and adds some heart to the big black pepper. Good.
