This cab is ok...I have heard rave reviews but in my opinion its a good quality wine but certainly not refined. Medium fruit, lots of cherry, with a slightly mushroom-astringent bouquet. Hints of overripe pineapple. The price point makes this acceptable for an every day wine, but there are a lot more interesting choices out there. Definitely worth a try, would probably buy again, but definitely...

An unusual Barbera...and very inexpensive. Around ten dollars. The bouquet is very strong- tons of wood and very very earthy. Some trace fruits like cherry, and pears and medium tannins. But again- all you smell is brown mushroom as you lift the glass to your face. Interesting. Going to have it with steak- I am sure it can hang...
