Incredible 20-year old tawny...

Ok port nice dark friut plum carmel cigar/pipe tabacco nice heat dried chery/cream short finish (bummer) still good with Dark Chocolate!!

This is the best tawny port in the price range I've tasted. It has a smooth, complex, round flavor, not too sweet. Other reviewers have talked about dried fruit and pipe tobacco notes, which I definitely agree...

Color: tawny light brown, with some light red highlights Nose: creme brulee, vanilla and smoke; with some candied orange peel, even orange blossoms. Palate: Good vanilla and some of that citrus comes in. Nice coating mouthfeel that isn't too sweet to be unctuous, but that is because it's backed up by some good acidity. Pretty good stuff...

Not overwhelmingly sweet. The earthy, leathery, base is well accented with a strong date-like aroma.

Bronze-colored with oak tones leading to a plum finish.

Sweet, but bold thick taste. Oak and berry flavors.

Smoky spice, currants and citrus rind.

I quite liked this wine. It is very sweet but with a smooth taste. Definitely a great desert wine. A bit to strong for my wife. Plus if your looking for a little punch, you can?t beat the 19% by vol.
