Anomaly Vineyards is located at the base of the western hills of California's Napa Valley in the town of St. Helena. Anomaly specializes in the production of the highest-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. The first vintage of Anomaly, harvested in 1997, is currently available only for charity auctions. Buoyed by the success of the 1997 vintage, we embarked on the journey of obtaining a permit to produce estate cabernet by building a small winery adjacent to the vineyard. In the fall of 2000, a hard-fought battle was won and a permit secured to build a stone winery and 2000 square foot underground cave on the premises. Construction commenced in Spring 2001 and was completed in time for Harvest 2002.
